MORGAN FOY - CARSON NEWMAN
CLASS OF 2023
From Cary, NC, Sam made the move to full-time beach with Sinjin at the beginning of her sophomore year. Sam was very new to the game, but immediately went all in on getting better as fast as possible. Sam poured time into lessons, workouts, and as many tournaments
as her schedule could fill. Sam made college visit after visit, all the while knowing that her top pick was Tampa. After touring campuses around the east coast with
heavy attention to the Florida programs, Sam got the offer she wanted and committed to be a Spartan!
DEVAN FUNKE - ALABAMA-BIRMINGHAM
CLASS OF 2023
Our second player from Lynchburg, VA, but this time, we got a lefty! Devan is a very physical player and bases her offense around a huge left shoulder that sets the tone for the rest of her game. Devan came to us after committing to UAB at the beginning of her junior year. Devan had played against and with Sinjin athletes while training at VA Sand, her local club, where she continues to train in conjunction with Sinjin. It is both Devan's and our plan that her commute to Sinjin will supplement what she needs to have a standout career as a Blazer!
OLIVIA MCELROY - ARIZONA
CLASS OF 2023
From Charlotte, NC, Olivia is as phyical as any volleyballer you'll find. Olivia joined Sinjin in hopes that the coaches and talented players around her would provide the learning environment to best prepare her for the collegiate game. Olivia was committed to Arizona before coming to Sinjin, and all recruiting credit goes to Nicole at S3 Volleyball. Olivia got a lot of recruiting attention, but ultimately decided that the campus and coaches at Arizona were the right fit for her. We're so pumped to help Olivia get ready to be a Wildcat!
From Mebane, NC, Morgan Foy has spent the last two seasons with Sinjin's National Team and quickly became a solid leader for the team. Morgan is a dynamic defender with a sneaky amount of power in her swing. Earlier this year, Morgan visited Carson Newman's campus and fell in love with their program. It wasn't soon after she committed to play at CNU! We are so excited for her to stay (semi) close to her Sinjin family, and for all of the success that awaits her at Carson Newman! Go Eagles!
ASHLEY TORSONE - ALABAMA-BIRMINGHAM
CLASS OF 2023
From Wake Forest, NC, Ashley started playing beach with Sinjin halfway through her sophomore year. Ashley showed promise early with her huge vertical and physical style of play. Ashley poured into the beach game however she could with practices, tournament travel, and lessons, and she got better FAST. 9 months later, Ashley had 4 D1 beach offers on the table and a big decision to make! Ultimately, a stellar education and likelihood to be an impact player early in her career drew her to commit to playing as a Blazer at UAB!
ELLIE SAMPSON - STANFORD
CLASS OF 2023
From Apex, NC, Ellie Sampson was destined to go to Stanford. A borderline genius, Ellie bagged a 1530 on her SAT as a sophomore. But it wasn't without hard work and a lot of diligence. Ellie was so well prepared for June 15 that she amassed over 15 D1 offers during the first month. She had done such a great job on her film and emails, and played in front of the right coaches so that when June 15 came, Ellie's phone wouldn't stop ringing. Ellie eventually decided that there was simply no academic comparison to Stanford. Go Cardinal!
SLOANE WOOLWINE - FLORIDA ATLANTIC
CLASS OF 2023
From Wilmington, NC, Sloane has always been an electric athlete who has been smiling nonstop since she started training at Sinjin her freshman year. Sloane has an innate ability to keep the ball from touching the sand and can play a physical style game in transition. Sloane's recruiting journey was lengthy, and took her from Arizona, to California, to Florida, to Hawaii, and eventually back to Florida where Sloane found the best fit for her at Florida Atlantic. There is no doubt that Sloane will be an impact player at FAU, and we can't wait to watch her career as an Owl!
ANNA BAYES - TAMPA
CLASS OF 2023
Anna started driving from Greenville to train with us her sophomore year. Not long after that, one of the sweetest kids you'll ever meet started to show her fangs out on the sand court. As Anna's confidence grew, so did her highlight reel. With one of the best arm swings we've seen, Anna began to garner attention from coaches on the east and west coast, but her dream was always to go to Tampa where she has family ties. Anna took a trip to campus and performed well in front of Coach Lamm, and a couple weeks later, she turned down her other offers and committed to being a Spartan! Great job AB!
RILEY CUTLER - EASTERN KENTUCKY
CLASS OF 2023
From Greenville, NC, Riley knew early on that she wanted to go all beach and made the switch her freshman year. Riley originally dreamed of going to FGCU or UNCW and entertained the idea of going to Coastal Carolina. Along the journey of touring campuses and talking to coaches, Eastern Kentucky found Riley's film and decided that they wanted to build their program around a defender like Riley Cutler, and all of a sudden her decision of where to play became a no-brainer. Riley Cutler to EKU! Go Colonels!
AMELIA TAFT - LSU
CLASS OF 2023
From Greenville, NC, Amelia came to Sinjin at the beginning of her sophomore year as she had decided she wanted to play beach in college rather than indoor. Amelia was raw, but showed a lot of promise and received recruiting attention from some of the biggest programs in the country due to her 6' 1" frame and long arms. For a long time, we thought Amelia was going to go to UCLA or Cal Poly, but Amelia decided that her heart was much closer to home at Louisiana State University! Go Tigers!
FORBES HALL - LSU
CLASS OF 2023
FORBIEEE! Nobody saw it coming, not Forbes, nor her parents. From Greenville, NC, Forbes always seemed destined to go to South Carolina. Forbes was a homebody, and greatly attached to her friends who had already gone to SC. But in July, Forbes put together one of the most impressive runs through National Championship events that we have seen. Every coach took notice, and Forbes began to consider life further away from home. She went to FSU, FGCU, UNF, but when her family went to Baton Rouge, it was game over. Forbie had to be a Tiger.
ANNALYSE ASKEW - ARIZONA STATE
CLASS OF 2023
From Wilmington, NC, Annalyse grew up playing beach volleyball with her older sister Julianna. Annalyse came to Sinjin Beach her freshman year of high school and eventually switched entirely to beach volleyball her sophomore year in hopes of playing in college. For a long time, all signs pointed to UNF, but it only took one visit to Arizona State for Annalyse to know that ASU was her home. If you've ever seen Annalyse hit a volleyball, then you know why ASU offered her a spot on their team. Congratulations Annalyse! Go Sun Devils!
SARAH WILCOCK - TCU
CLASS OF 2023
From Mendham, NJ, Sarah Wilcock grew up following her older sister, Lauren, to beach volleyball tournaments all around the country. As a result, Sarah began her collegiate recruiting process in middle school before the June 15 rule was put into place. When June 15 finally came, Sarah received an offer from her number 1 school: TCU! Sarah is the perfect example of doing all of the legwork to prepare for June 15 when college coaches can finally take phone calls from rising juniors and give offers for their teams.
CELIA RYAN - COASTAL CAROLINA
CLASS OF 2022
Celia started playing beach volleyball in the fall of her junior year while continuing to play indoor year-round. Celia loved both the beach and indoor game and marketed herself to indoor and beach programs around the country. As the season progressed, Celia eventually decided that her love for beach outweighed her desire to play indoor collegiately and she went all in on finding the right beach program for her. After many campus visits, Celia finally found the right home for her as a Chanticleer at Coastal Carolina. Go Celia!!
MORGAN DOWNS - SOUTH CAROLINA
CLASS OF 2022
Morgan was a stud on both the indoor and sand court for years, until she finally decided to focus only on beach volleyball her sophomore year. After her first year of full time beach, Morgan started to commute to Raleigh for recruiting help as well as high level training. Morgan is incredibly athletic, and quickly accumulated multiple D1 offers. In the end, she landed an offer at her dream school, and committed to play D1 beach as a South Carolina Gamecock! Go Morgan!
HALLIE FRIST - TCU
CLASS OF 2022
All the way from Nashville, TN, Hallie came to us in the middle of her junior year to get more help in her recruiting and take her game to the highest level. Hallie had nailed down her decision to two schools: TCU or Stanford. But, both schools appeared to be done with their recruiting for 2022, but Hallie went for it anyways! After many camps and trips to campuses, Hallie showed up big on the sands of Huntington Beach, CA. The TCU coaches were there watching and waiting with an offer in hand. Hallie is headed to Texas! Go Frogs!
ADDIE WHITE - ECKERD
CLASS OF 2022
Addie played beach full time for several years before starting to train with our Select team. As a junior, Addie knew she wanted to play beach volleyball in college, and was very open to the different areas of the country where she could do that. She talked with a number of different programs from the East to the West coast. Addie finally decided that her collegiate years were best spent on the beach at Eckerd College in beautiful St. Petersburg, FL! Go Tritons!!
KELLY MCCONEKEY - NORTH FLORIDA
CLASS OF 2022
Kelly has always loved playing volleyball, and has balanced playing both indoor and sand volleyball competitively all through her sophomore year. Even though she was highly successful in indoor, Kelly made the decision to focus and play sand volleyball in college after training with Sinjin Beach. With multiple offers on the table, Kelly found the perfect fit at UNF and chose to join the Osprey family! We're so proud of you Kelly, and can't wait to see you excel! Swoop!
ADDIE BOUNDS - CAL POLY
CLASS OF 2022
Like many of our athletes, Addie was a beast in the indoor world before focusing only on beach volleyball. Addie committed to Cal Poly the summer before her junior year. After committing, Addie decided that she needed to commute from Maryland down to Raleigh on the weekends to train and compete with Sinjin. Addie - Cal Poly is getting a stud athlete, and we are thankful to have the opportunity to get you ready to compete with the Mustangs!
NICOLE DE OLIVEIRA - FLORIDA GULF COAST
CLASS OF 2022
Before her sophomore year of high school, Nicole chose to make the switch from indoor to pursue D1 beach volleyball. She quickly emerged as a stand out player on the east coast. Nicole wanted to stay on the east coast, and after touring many campuses and attending showcases, Nicole decided that Florida Gulf Coast in Fort Myers, FL was the home for her. We love you Nicole and can't wait to see you kill it at FGCU! Go Eagles!!
VB TROST - SOUTH CAROLINA
CLASS OF 2022
VB joined us at the tail-end of her recruiting journey. She already had several offers on the table. It didn't take much, but we were able to provide VB with the little bit of help she needed to commit to her dream school, South Carolina! VB has always trained full-time with VA Sand in Lynchburg, Virginia. We will continue to work hand in hand with VA Sand as we prepare VB and her future South Carolina teammates to get into the starting lineup! Go Gamecocks!!
EMMA MORRIS - STANFORD
CLASS OF 2021
Emma is another one of our athletes who makes a 5 hour commute from Northern Virginia. Emma had competed against our players in tournaments on numerous occasions. After committing to play D1 Beach at Stanford, Emma decided to commute to Raleigh and train with our athletes as often as possible before heading to the west coast. Emma, we're so glad to have the opportunity to help train you and can't wait to cheer you on at Stanford! Go Cardinal!
JULIANNA QUINTERO - PEPPERDINE
CLASS OF 2021
Julianna "Juju" committed to Pepperdine long before training with Sinjin Beach. Juju's height, long arms and great vertical made her an obvious grab for the Waves. After competing against our players time and time again, Juju eventually decided to train with Sinjin Beach during her senior year before heading to Malibu. Juju, we hope all of the 5 hour drives from Virginia are worth it and can't wait to see you play at Pepperdine!
TESSA ROGERS - UNC WILMINGTON
CLASS OF 2021
Leading up to her junior year of high school, Tessa decided to pursue playing full-time on both indoor and beach volleyball club teams. In addition to balancing her school studies and a job, Tessa had at least 6 club practices a week, plus tournaments! After considering both indoor and beach offers, Tessa decided in July before her senior year that her college future was best spent playing D1 beach at UNCW. Congratulations Tessa! Go Seahawks!!

Thanks to Brittany and John in Wilmington for helping Malia get ready for D1 beach volleyball!
ZOE CROW - ALABAMA-BIRMINGHAM
CLASS OF 2021

However, a change in coaching staff led her to change her commitment to playing D1 beach at UAB - Go Blazers!
CHASE TEAL - SOUTH CAROLINA
CLASS OF 2021
Chase started playing beach full-time with us in 2017 as a freshman in high school. Chase went to many collegiate camps and several showcases.
